Trot Lovers / Lovers of Music Episode 7 Review
We held our breaths while we wait for Choon Hee to make a decision: her dad or the stage? She wasted very little time contemplating on this though as she left the waiting area and rushed to find a taxi. Joon Hyun had no choice but to go with her.
When they got to the place, it was empty. The police said the message could be a prank from someone who saw her on television. Coincidentally, her dad called her up and told her he’s doing fine wherever he is.
We didn’t even get to appreciate Choon Hee’s outfit much although the white on white on white look is striking on her. Her earrings are also very eye-catching.

First, Soo In’s mom’s dress! So pretty! Jo Geun Woo has his hands full again. The director of the live show Choon Hee ditched is mad at her for dashing out like that. They don’t want anything to do with Choon Hee anymore.
Choi Choon Hee is banned from doing live shows and not even Geun Woo can lift it. Tae Song heard about it and begged Joon Hyun to help out so he can atone for what he did in the past.

Tae Song proved to be a fast worker as he got Choon Hee a project. It’s a taped show and they have to travel to get there. Luckily, Chul Man and Yoo Sik were there to loan them their car.
I guess it’s a Joon Hyun thing, this shirt half-undone thing? I do admire his knack for wearing bold prints.

Stage mom gets a whiff of Park Soo In’s secret crush on Geun Woo after seeing the photos of the two in Soo In’s phone. So she calls up Geun Woo and invites him to a party that will celebrate her 30th anniversary in the business.
Choon Hee and Joon Hyun arrive at their destination – a shady area in the middle of nowhere. Choon Hee booked lodging in a creepy place owned by an old lady who, at that moment, is commemorating her late husband’s death anniversary.
Geun Woo graced Yang Hoo Jee’s event and the mother and daughter couldn’t hide their glee. It quickly turned sour though when Geun Woo overheard Hoo Jee thank her friend who previously rebuffed Choon Hee and her efforts to perform on stage as a favor for the former. Geun Woo dashed off, leaving a chagrined Park Soo In trying to catch up to him.
Choon Hee got out of her usual t-shirt and heavily distressed pants uniform and put on some decent clothes – a skin-fitting leather pants that she matched with a printed top and a pair of lace up booties. Only, she shouldn’t have bothered, said the producers.

Turned out Choon Hee isn’t singing for people. She’s singing for goats! It’s the show’s theme, apparently and the producer wants to know animals’ reactions to music.
Joon Hyun balks at this while Choon Hee seems desperate enough to atone that she’s willing to sing even to a herd of goats. Joon Hyun storms out, not wanting to see Choon Hee tire herself out for a some silly program. Choon Hee injures herself after being nearly trampled about by startled goats.
And then comes Jo Geun Woo. He, too, is as revolted by the goat scene as Joon Hyun. He blames Joon Hyun for putting Choon Hee in that situation and Joon Hyun lashes back. Choon Hee steps in before the two can really hurt each other.
Joon Hyun does a grand walk out, which is fine with Geun Woo as he is left alone with Choon Hee. Coincidentally, it rained and they had to seek the refuge of Geun Woo’s car. On their way back (to the dingy lodging, I presume), the car gets deeply stuck in mud. As the two wait out for the rain to stop, they play a silly hand-flicking game, which just got them closer. Meanwhile, Joon Hyun is frantic with worry as he can’t find Choon Hee. Park Soo In helps him find the missing President and Choon Hee.
He eventually found the two, unharmed and unaware of the hell he went through to find them. He storms out again and Choon Hee follows him. Frustrated that she can’t get him at all, he pulls Choon Hee in his arms and kisses her. She broke it almost immediately, both looking painfully uncomfortable. Lol. Joon Hyun couldn’t believe he kissed that girl he used to hate.
Choon Hee is lacking in off-duty style, I know, but there are days when her shirts spark a bit of envy. This is one of them. Love the bicycle print on this one.
Jang Joon Hyun meets up with President Jo for some early rice wine. The president promises him a comeback, even an album, if he is able to help get Choon Hee out of her current rut. He gives Joon Hyun one solid advice: be tenacious, B-E tenacious.
So tenacious is what Joon Hyun has become. He hounded the show producer with his request to lift the live show ban on Choon Hee. Also, there goes that shirt half-undone thing again. Love the ombre print of his denim shirt as well. And that crossbody bag? It’s different from all the backpack-loving guys we’ve been seeing in Kdramas as of late. I guess I need time to warm up to the crossbody bag look.
His shirt is from Tommy Hilfiger, his pants are from PLAC jeans and his bag is from Dolce & Gabbana.
Joon Hyun managed to persuade the producer after the latter accidentally spilled hot coffee on him. So there, ban lifted. Choon Hee can now sing on live shows again.
Someone’s none too pleased by Choon Hee’s rise to stardom though. Park Soo In sheds off her fake smiles and gives Choon Hee the cold shoulder.
It’s so obvious, the difference in their styles. Soo In looks very neat in her LBD and Choon Hee couldn’t have looked more casual even if she tried.
As a comic relief, we get to see Seol Tae Song and Na Pil Nyeo chat with each other. Only, they don’t know they’re chatting with each other. They go by their chat names and they spill their secret crushes to each other. lol.
Joon Hyun, with a spring in his step, goes to Choon Hee to deliver the good news. Jo Geun Woo beats him to the punch so Choon Hee assumed it was the president who moved heaven and earth to lift that ban on her. Joon Hyun didn’t go all diva on her though and said if she’s happy, he’s happy. Aww. Someone’s doing some growing up.
Jang Joon Hyun’s shirt is the:
I’m just about noticing Choon Hee’s fascination with ripped jeans. Those distressed pants look like they’ve been mauled by a dog. And those printed pants on Joon Hyun? Looks like something my granny would wear. Is it odd that I like the look on Joon Hyun?
A couple of kids are singing Choon Hee’s song and Joon Hyun had to stop and ask them where they heard the song. The kids said their parents listen to the song all the time – a further testament to Choon Hee’s burgeoning success.

From a total arse to a caring sweetie, Joon Hyun has come a long way, hasn’t he? He volunteers to do house chores while Choon Hee practices and Byeol goes to school. And again with the ripped jeans. Those jeans Choon Hee is wearing are so ripped, they can almost pass off as shorts.
Choon Hee has a thing for T-shirt slogans.
Seems like despite Joon Hyun’s years of fame and being waited on by other people, he knows how to do house work.
On her way home, Choon Hee gets waylaid by Geun Woo, who looks dashing in that teal blazer. He invites her for dinner and she agrees.
Geun Woo drops her off at home after the dinner. But noticing that she left her phone in his car, he was on his way to give it back to her when he saw Choon Hee walk up to her house with Joon Hyun.
