Cheongdamdong Alice Review Episode 4: Now that Seo Yoon Joo agreed to teach Han Se Kyung how to snag a white rabbit for herself, their lessons started.
Han Se Kyung still has to deal with their failing family finances. They might have to sell their house and go rent somewhere to pay off their debts. This has made her more driven.
The next day, Se Kyung and Yoon Joo went to a restaurant where they spotted Se Kyung’s white rabbit, Tommy Hong, a famous local designer.
Meanwhile Cha Seung Joo (Jean Thierry Cha) has been attempting to get in contact with Se Kyung. But while Se Kyung answers back, she is too preoccupied with snaring a white rabbit.
Cha Seung Joo took it upon himself to help ease up her burdens. But since Artemis has designers abroad, he couldn’t exactly hire her as a designer. He then prevailed on his business acquaintances to find out if they have a position for a fledgling designer.
Se Kyung already decided to pursue Tommy Hong. She even took an extra job as a waitress at a restaurant Tommy frequents.
Se Kyung’s troubled father made a scene at a rival bakery shop. Cha Il Nam, Cha Seun Joo’s father saw this and decided to sponsor him and hire him as a baker.
Also, Se Kyung’s plans seem to be going smoothly. Tommy Hong invited her to his party. She went to the party and followed all of Yoon Joo’s mingling advice.
Cha Seung Joo also attended the party but was surprised to find Se Kyung there. He left early to avoid getting caught. Tommy Hong, who is apparently an expert when it comes to the antics of women, thought that Se Kyung was looking for someone to sponsor her. This irked Se Kyung so he threw water to his face. Tommy Hong retaliated by throwing soy sauce to her face.
When she left the party, she ran into Seung Joo and he noticed the splashes of soy sauce. He went back to the party and decided to avenge Se Kyung.

Cheongdamdong Alice Fashion Recap Episode 4:
Seo Yoon Joo had a lot of outfit changes in this episode. Here she is rocking a jacket with gold lining from Epitaph.
In the first screenshot, you can see her reclining on her Red Valentino printed shoulder bag.
Get Her Bag:
Red Valentino Shoulder Bag, $207.00
She changes into a pristine white furry top paired with a black skirt as she coaches Han Se Kyung on how to snag a white rabbit.
Han Se Kyung was also a revelation in this episode. It appears like she is taking Yoon Joo’s lessons to heart. She wore this black and white number from Moschino for her lessons with Yoon Joo.
Get Her Dress:
Moschino Short Dress, $595.00
I give a nod to her choice of accessories – a chain-strapped quilted bag and this pair of black peep toe pumps:
To offset her monochromatic ensemble, she threw on this blush-tone tweed coat, which really had me mentally thanking the stylists as I grew tired seeing her in monochromatic ensembles.
Her coat is not available online but it is from the brand Derercuny.
Ah Jeong, on the other hand, still favors her colourful coats. This is reminiscent to the one she wore in the previous episode.

Satin Blue Coat, 628,200 Won
It’s winter season after all so this episode is raining cute coats. Yoon Joo’s orange coat outshined Se Kyung’s so hard. Her coat is from the company Michaa.

I’m a fan of Yoon Joo’s peplum coat. And she did well pairing it with that embellished detachable collar. It’s from popular Korean brand Lucky Chouette.

It’s back to work for our Alice. Attired in her usual somber clothing, she looks very utilitarian. The only think remotely interesting about her outfit is her printed sweater.

BNX Printed Sweater, 279,000 Won
Han Se Kyung may not have the money to buy luxurious clothes but when she decides to dress up nicely, her design talent seeps through.
Get Her Coat:
Moschino Full Length Jacket In Ivory, $1,248.00
I haven’t been able to ID her dress and shoes but that doesn’t mean we can’t ogle at them, right? Her shoes, particularly, are stunning. It’s a metallic snakeskin embossed shoe with glittery heels.
DEWL makes another appearance with Yoon Joo’s collar-embellished dress. If it has embellished collar, it has to be DEWL. Most of the pieces I have seen from them worn in dramas have very simple silhouettes but ornate collars.
